Oxymoron is the ninth and most recent studio album by British singer-songwriter Nik Kershaw, released on 16th October 2020.
The album was recorded at Abbey Road Studios. An EP, These Little Things, containing six of the albums tracks, was released on 26 June 2020 to promote the album reaching Number 1 in the Amazon Music charts.
When the album was eventually released in October, it debuted in the iTunes Top 10.
“It ‘Oxymoron’ did kind of turn into a bit of a monster… My biggest problem is knowing when a song, a record, is finished… and then someone says ‘How about strings?’… and then there’s horns on top of that and it just becomes this huge thing.”
